Deeply involved in the remix culture and real time AV projects in which he blends influences of different contexts – from post-work anthropology to the abstract quotes from 3D modelings for industrial design. His narrative is often quoting current social fears and dystopias, but mostly using the language of colorful, chaotic metaphysics.
His most recent exhibitions were at The New Infinity | Berliner Festspiele | Immersion and CTM / transmediale (Germany), Llum BCN Festival d’Arts Lumíniques (Spain), EMA Expo ММОМА (Russia). Talks and performances at Centre Pompidou / IRCAM / Manifeste (France), Sonar+D and MUTEK (Argentina/Mexico), ZKM-Karlsruhe, MIRA and MMMAD Festival (Spain), Poesiefestival (Germany).
In recent years, Lucas has given lectures and taught at UdK – Universität der Künste Berlin, Kunsthochschule Weißensee, and the Global Master of Interactive Media Arts (IMA) Low Res Program offered jointly by NYU Tisch and NYU Berlin | Shanghai New York University, focusing on real-time visualization, immersive media, and audiovisual
