Full Bio

I am an interdisciplinary educator, artist, designer, and independent curator recognized for my impactful work in time-based media art, projection art, experience design, and book arts.
My practice involves producing dynamic multimedia installations, video projections, light designs, audiovisual performances, sound works, and films. I focus on developing spontaneous composition systems and interactivity to enhance storytelling.
As a multimedia art advisor, designer, and time-based media specialist, I contribute to develop immersive and high-tech projects. Recently, I created and produced light and video designs for performances at Southbank (Theo Croker, 2025) and Royal Albert Hall (Shabaka, 2024).
I have extensive experience running creative workshops for the development of exhibitions, experiences, or events, providing seminars on audiovisual installation art and immersive experience design at various universities, including working as Senior Lecturer in Design at Ravensbourne and providing guest lectures at Westminster, Goldsmiths, University of the Arts London, and Roundhouse and other institutions. Internationally, I have conducted workshops at UDIT in Madrid, Spain; Faro de Oriente in Mexico; and UPR in Puerto Rico, as well as offering specialist online workshops.I achieved a PhD with honours in 2010, examining the subject of Audiovisual Performance Art and hold a Masters in Scriptwriting and Storytelling for television.
I have been honoured with a Francis Chagrin Award and have received grants from organizations such as Arts Council England (ACE), the British Music Collection, the British Council, and AMEXCID to support my projects. My work has been widely exhibited, including recent projects at the Royal Albert Hall, Southbank, Tate Modern, Turner Contemporary, Photo Espana, the Centro Cultural de España in Mexico, and the British Council in Delhi, India.
Additionally, I have curated various sound and visual art events in London, including at Cafe OTO and Iklectik with Unpredictable Series CIC, company formed in 2019 of which I’m the Director. In 2020, I organized “Unpredictable Times,” featuring works from 12 international artists during the pandemic. Past projects also include “Art of Improvisers Extended” in collaboration with The Wire 400 in 2017 and the Alterations Festival.
