Since its start in 2019, Flying Submarine has been using MadMapper, collaborating and working closely with top VJs, artists, operators, and coders worldwide to deliver cutting-edge projects across Europe, the GCC, and Lebanon, building extensive experience that continues to this day.
Through years of experimentation and development, the studio has unlocked the full potential of MadMapper, using it not only for projection mapping but also for deeply interactive, responsive installations.
Their expertise extends to:
• Managing over 15 projectors in a single large-scale installation
• Utilizing MadLight and MadLaser to blend light, motion, and design
• Sending OSC messages and integrating custom systems for real-time communication and interactivity

Based in Beirut, Flying Submarine is a creative technology studio and innovation hub that designs and produces immersive, interactive, and projection-based experiences. With a team that brings together engineers, designers, artists, and software developers, the studio operates at the intersection of art, design, and advanced fabrication - turning ideas into fully realized physical and digital experiences.
The studio’s work spans projection mapping, AR/VR, motion-based installations, holography, and custom hardware development. Every project is built in-house - from concept design and coding to fabrication and installation - giving Flying Submarine a unique ability to control every layer of the creative and technical process.
Since 2019, the team has been working and collaborating closely with MadMapper software, developing a strong relationship through years of experimentation, research, and hands-on production. Its projects have spanned Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, Cyprus, UAE, KSA, Qatar, Kuwait, Egypt, Senegal, and many other countries - including Lebanon - featuring installations that seamlessly combine technical precision with artistic storytelling.
Flying Submarine has worked with international brands and produced numerous out-of-the-box interactive activations, including L'Oréal, Changan, Puma, Johnnie Walker, Red Bull, and more. The studio has explored the full depth of MadMapper’s capabilities - operating 15+ projectors in a single large-scale installation, integrating MadLight and MadLaser for light and laser synchronization, and using OSC communication for real-time interactivity and custom integrations.
Beyond production, Flying Submarine is an educational and community-driven space, committed to sharing knowledge and building the next generation of digital artists and makers. As part of this vision, the studio is now joining MadMapper’s global educational network, leading workshops that bridge creative ideas with practical, hands-on skills in immersive media and interactive design.
