During this introduction to shaders, visual artist and web developer Leander Herzog will guide you through the program: its basics, tools available and its best uses. Write your first GLSL language (OpenGL Shading Language) and learn how to code your first shapes, patterns and animations in real time.

Spatializing Light: Building Wireless Systems by Michael Ang (Berlin), a workshop proposed by the Mapping Festival, Geneva :
The Internet of things is in the spotlight. By building and controlling LED wireless lighting systems, the engineering artist, Michael Lang, will demonstrate how to develop lighting compositions, installations, performances and spatialized interventions. Participants will discover the creative world of the artist and be aware of new technologies and visual arts. These low-cost, battery-powered, and easily transportable systems can be integrated with Ableton Live, VJ Software or code-controlled.
